FAQs
Answer
Connected members have the option to share one item at a time or their entire home history. Need to make a claim on your stolen bike? You can share the bike's details with your insurance agent. Do you want to prove that your new deck was built by a certified professional? Your contractor can share the project with you and generate an electronic invoice at the same time. Are you worried about your maturing parents and their home's well-being? You can be an administrator on their home to help monitor ongoing maintenance. Sold your home? Once you share your home history with the new owners, you can easily transfer your home to them. The home buyers can later remove you from their account.
Answer
No. We designed RezDox with your personal privacy in mind. No one has access to your details unless you give them permission. Sharing is a multi-step process to protect your information. Sharing can only occur once you are connected RezDox members. One party can initiate a request, but the share will not be complete until the second party accepts.
Answer

Answer
Yes. Renters are an important part of a home's history with many renters helping take care of a home as if it was their own. Renters and homeowners can both benefit from knowing the investment made into a rental property.
Answer
RezDox' Real Market Value is the combination of three things: your home's Zillow Zestimate, the home improvements you have entered into RezDox and Hanley Wood's annual Cost vs Value Report. Our goal is to provide additional insight into the equity you have built in your home. We hope our home history reports make the appraisal and inspection processes easier, but there are many factors that go into a home's value. We encourage you to hire a local professional who is an expert in your market.
Answer
RezDox is perfect for all home owners. If you need to know that contractor who fixed the plumbing 3 years ago, or maybe it's time to re-finance, RezDox provides value to owners who just moved into a brand new, recently built home or our parents that have lived in their house for over 30 years.
Answer
Not only do we make it easy for you to find the project or product details, anytime, anywhere, but RezDox calculates the equity you have built, one project at a time. You can quickly create a home history report, which can be used by appraisers, mortgage brokers, realtors or insurance companies.
Answer
Details about a home's maintenance and improvements are self reported by the current home owner. Public records are available, but they only capture larger projects that require permits or repairs that were processed through insurance claims. Our goal is to make it easy for home owners to capture all details for every project including small, but important items like furnace filter sizes or paint colors.
